His teammate Karl Toko Ekambi, who plays for Olympic Lyon netted 5 goals at the tournament.
Vincent Aboubakar was born in 1992. He began his football career at Coton Sport before moving to Europe in 2010.
In Europe, specifically France, Vincent Aboubakar appeared and played for two Ligue 1 teams: Valenciennes and Lorient. In the two clubs, he appeared 126 times in total and scored 26 goals.
At a time when he was on top of his game, 2014, he signed for Portugal giants Porto. In FC Porto, Vincent Aboubakar scored 58 goals in 125 appearances. It’s while in Porto that he won a league title – Primeira Liga.
